Stalking Power
For the past three years, I have been exploring the vast and beautiful Sonoran Desert in Arizona City, Phoenix. It has been a journey of discovery, adventure, and spiritual growth. My time there has been spent with a wise Spiritual Teacher/Medicine Man and Yaqui Indian named Don Lorenzo. He has shared with me the wisdom teachings of my indigenous roots, which have helped me to deepen my understanding of the natural world and the interconnectedness of all things.
One of the most profound lessons Don Lorenzo taught me is understanding power. According to his teachings, power cannot be possessed or controlled; instead, it is a force that flows through all life. He explained that everything in the universe is imbued with power, from the smallest grain of sand to the most extensive mountain range.
Don Lorenzo also introduced me to the teachings of mystic and shaman Don Juan Matus (as written by Carlos Castaneda). Through these wisdom teachings, I learned that the key to unlocking the power within is to cultivate a state of awareness and transcend the limitations of self-importance, the ego/sense of self, which is the limiting force that prevents you from accessing the true power of the universe.
Instead, you must learn to embrace the unknown, let go of your preconceived notions of reality, and open yourself up to the infinite possibilities of the universe; doing so allows you to tap into the power that flows through all things.
Overall, the teachings of Don Lorenzo have been transformative for me. They have helped me see the world differently and understand power’s true nature. By sharing some of these teachings with you, you, too, can begin to unlock the infinite power that lies within you.
Stalking Power – Unleashing Your Power
The term stalking power was used in the teachings of Don Juan. He taught that individuals possess a personal power that is hidden or untapped. And that this power can be unleashed through stalking power, which are conscious, deliberate actions to achieve specific goals and intentions.
Stalking power can take many forms, such as sitting in silence, mastering a skill, overcoming fears, and pursuing a passion. The key is to direct your act of power with intention.
Not all of your dreams and desires are created equal. Some may be unrealistic or unsustainable, while others may align more with your gifts and true purpose. The key is to focus power only on those aligned with your internal guidance, values, and principles.
Releasing Limiting Beliefs and Behaviors
A critical aspect of stalking power is releasing limiting beliefs and behaviors. These thoughts and actions hold you back from unleashing your potential. They include self-doubt, fear of the unknown, resistance, procrastination, and negative self-talk. To release these limiting beliefs and behaviors, you must become aware of them and consciously replace them with empowering thoughts and actions.
Self-doubt is a common limiting belief inhibiting you from taking risks, pursuing your passions, or making decisions. It manifests as a lack of confidence and mistrust, a belief that you are not good enough, or a fear of failure or rejection. Fear of the unknown is a common limiting belief that will keep you trapped in your comfort zones and prevent you from exploring new opportunities. Procrastination is another; putting things off leads to missed opportunities, increased stress, and feeling behind or overwhelmed.
To overcome limiting beliefs and behaviors, become aware and consciously replace them with empowering thoughts and actions and seek out sources of positive inspiration and motivation.
Cultivating Awareness and Perception
Another essential aspect of stalking power is the cultivation of awareness and perception. This means being fully present and engaged in the present moment and being able to perceive reality more nuanced and complexly. This means noticing the nuances of a situation, picking up on subtle cues and body language, and being able to interpret them accurately.
When you cultivate awareness and perception, you become attuned to your inner power and direct choices and actions and can tap into your intuition to make decisions based on your instincts. You can also better understand the motivations and intentions of those around you, allowing you to navigate social situations more confidently.
Self-Discipline, Focus, and Intention
Stalking power requires self-awareness and reflection, self-discipline, and focus. This means staying committed to your spiritual path, despite distractions, setbacks, and challenges. Developing self-discipline and focus requires practice, patience, and persistence.
Intention is the force that propels you toward your goals and aspirations. Intention is not a mental construct but a powerful energy that flows through every cell in your body. As a result, you can manifest your reality and create your destiny. However, you must also align your intentions with your actions and be steadfast in pursuing your goals. The intention is critical.
Taking Action and Embracing Change
To truly harness power, it is essential to take action and actively seek out ways to positively impact your life and the lives of those around you. This means embracing change, even when it may seem intimidating or uncomfortable. The most transformative experiences often come from stepping outside your comfort zone and challenging yourself.
Taking risks can be scary, and experiencing undesired outcomes is part of the journey. However, learn from your experiences and use them to refine and adjust your approach.
Another component of stalking power is being open to receiving feedback from others, which requires humility and a willingness to acknowledge that you don’t have all the answers. Consider seeking mentors or trusted advisors who can offer support and guidance.
Embracing change and taking action requires a mindset focused on growth and progress. Instead of being content with the status quo, strive to challenge yourself and push beyond your limits continuously. By doing so, you will unlock potential and become a force that can positively impact the world.
Embracing Your True Purpose and Potential
Ultimately when you tap into your power, you access the deep wellspring of purpose and potential within you. This wellspring is a source of energy and inspiration to help you achieve extraordinary things. It allows you to overcome obstacles, push through challenges, and walk your spiritual path with a deep sense of purpose and power.
Peace and Power.
