Whatever you learn through your discovery and self-observation of your story is ABOUT you. It is not YOU. It is content, not the essence of you. So go beyond the content, step out of the ego’s control, and step into authentic power.
Stories are recognizable patterns that you can find meaning in your life from those patterns. They create a connection with one another; they allow you to experience rich emotions and feelings of joy, sorrow, etc. They are your teachers, entertainers, and a fundamental part of being human.
Your story helps you understand your life. It gives you insight into the vital role of growth and development your soul has come to actualize and enables you to make sense of yourself.
But, getting stuck in your story and or becoming a victim of your story is often an expected result. The Victim archetype, insidious in nature, will be why you find yourself stuck, unfulfilled, in relationship struggles, avoiding intimate relationships, unable to create what you want from life, and settling with your life. You will convince yourself that you are happy enough because it is easier to avoid than face it, or you will blame others and situations as to why things are not going your way.
Those who work with me often hear me say, “understanding the victim archetype in your life will become one of your most powerful allies. Once you can recognize how it is unconsciously operating in your life and work do the work to transform it, you will be set free.”
That is power!
Namaste.
